Since June 15, 2019, newly registered trucks must be equipped with the digital tachograph 4.0 (EU Regulation 165/2014).
These tachographs use digital technologies such as satellite-based positioning and short-range communications for control authorities. They are compatible with a variety of other telematics services and apps.
